I'm a music major living in California, and hopefully soon I will be studying at a four year institution. I play the flute, though as auxiliary instruments I also play oboe, piano, and alto saxophone. I also play a lot of piccolo, it's one of my favorite things to do in the orchestra.
I love the silvery, gentle tone of the flute, and the versatile range of emotions you can get with it. I like to play a lot of different kinds of repertoire, and I also enjoy taking gigs because you get to experience a lot of different performance situations, as well as different types of repertoire!
